Haiti, in the West Indies, occupies the western third of the island of Hispaniola, which it shares with the Dominican Republic. About the size of Maryland, Haiti is two-thirds mountainous, with the rest of the country marked by great valleys, extensive plateaus, and small plains.Today we collected $209 for a total of $762.79. Today we had all four volunteers spots held. Thanks to our volunteers, we've collected a lot more money than we expected. Haiti can be expecting at least $1,000.
