Two 4th grade Greenhill kids decided that they should start a community service project to raise $800 and the awareness of Haiti's needs. For ten days starting March 1, please PLAN TO GIVE UP TO $1 A DAY when the student volunteers collect for Haiti at carpool drop off time only!

Fourth Day
Haiti, in the West Indies, occupies the western third of the island of Hispaniola, which it shares with the Dominican Republic. About the size of Maryland, Haiti is two-thirds mountainous, with the rest of the country marked by great valleys, extensive plateaus, and small plains.
Today we collected $209 for a total of $762.79. Today we had all four volunteers spots held. Thanks to our volunteers, we've collected a lot more money than we expected. Haiti can be expecting at least $1,000.
The Answer to today's poll is that Haiti is about the size of Maryland.
Sam and Daniel! You two are so inspirational. I hope that we can continue this even through next week. Either way you are certainly putti leadership and care into action. I will follow your lead. Ms. Freeman
We are Daniel Brickman and Sam Grimsley and we go to Greenhill School in Addison, Texas. We are two 4th Graders who have a mission. Our mission is to collect UP TO a $1 a day from kids at our school to help Haiti.
The motto of Haiti is L'Union Fait La Force, meaning Strength in Unity. Even though Haiti seems so far away from Dallas, if WE all pull together, WE can make a difference to the children and families affected by the devastating earthquake.
Through the Red Cross, our money may be able to supply them with clean water, food, bedding and shelter from the weather.
We and our school are helping - maybe you can too!
